Hello guys...i'm unable to use my previous nickname, don't know why, still waiting to reset the old password...ehm, i don't remember it! Anyway...aeons are passed since my first appearence here, but i still remember all the guys and the founder of the Webzine, Iannis 'scrollkeeper'! In the last years/months there wasn't enough time to stay behind all the zines and webzines, but i am very honoured to see that Holy Martyr have a space here, thanks
We have finally finished the second album titled Hellenic Warrior Spirit. It's not a concept about the battle of termophiles, but will contain all the songs from Hail To Hellas and this is a good thing, because the production is brilliant and the songs that you know very well deserved the best! They are more or similar...but better, powerful, well played with arrangements and better vocals. Another good thing is that finally everyone will find the songs from the ep in the album, so many people will stop to ask me copies...a guy from Crete offered me 50 and more euro for a copy...my god
The rest of the songs are about Sparta and the Spartans, but no eferences about termophiles (above all...no 300 movie influences ahah), this is the reason of the title, if you want i will ty to do a track by track here. This is the track list:
1. March - Intro 2. Spartan Phalanx 3. Lakedaimon 4. H Tan H Epi Tas 5. Hellenic Valour 6. Kamari, Andreia, Polemos 7. The Call To Arms 8. Molon Labe 9. Defenders In The Name Of Hellas 10. The Lion Of Sparta 11. To Kalesma Sta Opla
See ya here guys
Ivano
P.s p.s Alex will be in Athens for the swordbrothers...with the album in hand lol!

Heh, I was talking to Alex yesterday at Up the Hammers and he told me a few things about this new album.
I really can't wait to hear To Kalesma Sta Opla, I'm really curious how it is with music. The little he sung for us there sounded very nice, the accent was very nice.

Hail all guys Nice to talk with you! I never noticed a section for the band in this forum! Really!!! I'm very glad of this and i'll continue to post and write something Anyway, that gret malaka of Alex is studying greek, so the version of To Kalesma Sta Opla will be more or less good!I'm really angry cause i'm not in Athens now...fuck! I miss souvlaki :ladokola: (lol) and all the great friends...salute Mark Shelton for me Anyway, the new artwork will be made by the same artist of the first album, this will be more 'essential' and spartan. Don't expect a crowd of thousand people fighting, just few Spartiates covered by blood, slaughtering persians. It's a bloody, violent artwork...first time i saw it i was thinking to cannibal corpse in a epic way This is the first time i post the picture in a forum, we are still working on it, i think that the album will be out in a couple of months. We want to play the entire album for the metal healing festival and we hope to organize three concerts in Hellas very soon...Saloniki, Athens and Agrinio, we have some contacts, we'll see what will happen in autumn, could be a dream for us!! I've made a track by track in italian for the italian army of immortals fan club: http://www.armyofimmortals.it/public/forum...p?topic=2886.10If i find enough time i'll try to translate something. I don't know what to say about the new work...i like it, maybe the best effort 'till now. Expect war, it's Epic Heavy Metal like always, but heavy and full of hellenic words in every song ahah! The production finally is...awesome! :pope:

Outside the club, with some beers. I was with him and a few others, he was telling us the news and stuff, then he told us about the greek translation of call to arms and we pressed him to sing a few lyrics for us, just to see how it sounded. And it sounded great!
