This is magical Epic Metal delivered by the Cypriot Pioneers of the genre. Their long awaited return is marked by the Terra Incognita album. Well let’s make a quiz in here. What are the musical features that gave Arryan Path the Power to lead the Cypriot Metal Scene? Well we have the incredible voice of Nicholas Leptos (one of my favorite singers in the pantheon of Steel), we have the exotic riffing and the magnificent leads by the axe of Socrates Leptos and we have the band’s extremely inspired song writing -yes, to compose Hymns like “Cassiopeia” and “Monon Lave” you got to have pure talent and inspiration and Arryan Path got them both-. Ok the quiz is completed so now let’s focus to the fact that all those mentioned features are presented at their latest album the best way. So for sure the latest Arryan Path release is a perfect choice for those who search inspired, Powerful and majestic Epic Metal.

For those who have loved the folk elements that have been one of the band’s big trademarks, I should point that they are still here and are used in an inspired and careful way offering as a result songs like “Ishtar” –my favorite from this masterpiece- and the same titled “Terra Incognita”. Actually Arryan Path presents their full talent when they mix those folk elements with their mystic and exotic melodies able to drive the listener to complete ecstasy. No suitable words can be found for the beauty of such music.

For those who are still in the mood for bloody battlefield hymns a listen at songs like “Minas Tirith” and “The Blood Remains On The Believer” will make em to stand with their swords high. This is pure Steel for battle my friends. Still melodic and deeply inspired. Mentioning deep insparaiton I would do no justice to the band without making a reference to “Elegy” another anthem included in this album.

Arryan Path have released an ABSALUTE EPIC METAL ALBUM: nothing more and nothing less. They got the talent, they got the magical spirit and this album is the big proof. To the magic of the music included in this record you can add their great lyrics, you can add the passion in Nichola’s voice, you can add the crystal clear production and ok what else you can ask for a Metal album?
Go and get fast with no excuses…

Last but not least all hail to Pitch Black records the home of the Cypriot Metal Pantheon.
