ACID RAIN: Heavy / Epic Metallers from Volos, Thessaly, Greece are back.
The band will re-release their “War In The Sky” EP, on a limited vinyl edition of 100 copies.
The demo was released back on 2004 and was distributed with the second issue of Forgotten Scroll fanzine. It contained three tracks -1. War in the Sky, 2. Revenge, 3. The Time has Come-. Prior to this release the band has given away an even more limited CD-r edition of the track “Revenge”. Both those releases are sold out very quickly.
All this stuff will be released on vinyl. The band is already working on a limited pressing of 100 copies. Lyric videos will be also created for all the three tracks of the release.
The ACID RAIN saga started in 1996 under the SOULBLADE name. Back then, the band was mainly oriented into Hard Rock / Classic Heavy Metal forms, however the sound of the band was evolved featuring lots of Epic elements that were mainly presented on their “War in the Sky” EP, a release which generated its own cult status among the early – mid 00s wave of the Greek Heavy / Epic Metal underground.
