CANDLEMASS have announced a European tour supporting GHOST. The European leg of GHOST‘s A Pale Tour Named Death tour will continue on February 3 in Lyon, France before additional stops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Norway and the two band’s native Sweden, where they’ll play Gothenburg’s Scandinavium and Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe.
The dates will follow Ghost’s autumn North American tour, which kicks off later this month in Texas and includes huge arena shows at the Forum in Los Angeles, California and Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
GHOST are touring behind this year’s stunning fourth album, ‘Prequelle’. CANDLEMASS, meanwhile, recently announced that they are done recording part of their new album, following a year in the studio, which also spawned their doom epic “House of Doom” song which arrived as part of an EP with three bonus tracks in May. The album, which will feature the band’s returning original vocalist, Johan Langquist, is currently being mixed with a release date expected in spring via Napalm Records.
