The creative forces behind RINGLORN can’t be held back! Merely a couple of months after the release of their great debut album, Tales of War and Magic, RINGLORN returns with a brand new single!
The track is appropriately titled Arcane Metal, presumably after the unofficial name of the subgenre that includes other notable warlordian heavy metal bands such as Arysithian Blade and Black Sword Thunder Attack, to name a few. The title leaves few to the imagination, as the ensuing song is just that, hellenic arcane metal goodness, heavy on the guitarwork, and with a characteristic flair for the Epic. The always stellar Mark J Dexter unsurprisingly delivers a stylistically fitting performance.
The single release also includes the “single version” of the momentous Royal Guard track, as well as a demo version of the Beautiful Witch. These alternate versions, albeit perhaps a little rushed, considering the album they came off of is only a couple of months old, offer an interesting new look at these songs.
