After eight long years, hellenic epic heavy metal legends REFLECTION are finally back! Continuing their fruitful collaboration with Pitch Black Records, they unleash upon us the first single for their upcoming fifth, and as of this moment still untitled, full-length album.
Lord of the Wind, rife with Stathis Pavlantis’ excellent and, after all these years, characteristic guitar work, serves as an excellent reminder to older fans, as well as a great introduction to new listeners, as to why the name REFLECTION is uttered with such reverence in the underground heavy metal circles. The track is pure epic metal delight.
A special mention is in order for the individual manning the vocalist post this time around, Kostas Tokas. The songwriting in Lord of the Wind sheds enough of the spotlight on the vocals, in order for Tokas to showcase some of his talent and vocal complexion, showing he fits the band’s soundscape like a glove.
If Lord of the Wind is anything to go by, we are in for yet another great REFLECTION album.
