Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, US, DEMON BITCH have managed to develop a unique sound-frame of their own even from the days of their very first demo same titled demo, released back in 2012. I still remember the huge shock I went through when I first heard this tape back on the day.

The release of the “Hellfriends” debut album back in 2016 gave the chance to a wider audience to discover this one of a kind band. And then? And then there was silence.

But the silence is over, finally. DEMON BITCH are back releasing their second much anticipated full length album. Yes we had to wait 8 long years to get some new music from the masters, but hey, the long wait is over.

I have to repeat myself in here and point what I have pointed back in 2016: “No one sounds, and no one will ever manage to sound like DEMON BITCH”.

We took a good first taste of what is about to come, listening to the “Into the Archway” single that was released back in July 2024: “The Bitch can’t go wrong”, I thought when I first heard this new track. But now that I have spent quite a huge amount of time listening to the new masterpiece I can assure that DEMON BITCH are back, better than ever.

Yes the band still delivers that one of a kind insane combination of shadowed Heavy and Speed Metal. They are adding some US Power Metal touches as well, taken from the deeper of the underground vaults, leaving some serious serious space for some arcane 70s vibes, that are taking their music to an even stranger and unknown realm.

The steel that is captured on this amazing release highlights an over the top, edgy approaching in everything: the riffing, the vocals, the rhythms. A chaotic extravaganza of technical still total powerful and catchy type of heavy metal reflecting those mystical and obscure vibes that make it sounding like nothing else.

DEMON BITCH features several WHITE MAGICIAN members within its ranks, including vocalist Logon Saton, the guitar tandem of Lord Mars and Solon Saton plus Drummer Master Commander on drums. The band is rounded out by returning bassist B. Beastmaster, who was featured on the 2014 “Death is Hanging…” EP.

Strange realms of obscure fantasy are transformed into sound forms, getting a unique Heavy Metal shape full of melody, speed, dynamics. And you know what? The sound matches perfectly to the vision. Yes I am referring to the great album’s artwork that was handled by Logon who wanted to complement some of the more esoteric and mysterious aspects that “Master of the Games” encompasses, both lyrically and musically. He was working on both the lyrics and the artwork around the same time period, so he spent a lot of time staring at the painting while writing and thinking of ideas. This helped to inspire some lyrical passages in songs like“Soldiers of Obscurity”, “Sentinel at the Spire” and “Tower of Dreams”.

So yes, DEMON BITCH are back and they are offering a ground breaking masterpiece of obscure US Steel. We have to wait eight bloody years for, but now the wait is over. THE BITCH IS BACK!

The album will be released by Gates of Hell Records on November 29th (LP, CD, digital).

I breathe for music. And I am more than sure that my mission in this universe is to make everybody agree that "Awaken The Guardian" by FATES WARNING is the best album ever released, yes in all musical genres. My next mission is to feed homeless cats and when I am not busy with all this stuff I listen to US Prog / Power and Epic Doom Metal. And I cast spells in rituals in order to awake the old ones.
