This is STYGIAN OATH‘s debut mini CD on Stormspell Records and I can assure you that you should be prepared for a massive blast of Classic Heavy Metal by this amazing Greek band.
Influences from JUDAS PRIEST, ACCEPT, IRON MAIDEN, and SAVATAGE are mixed together on a very solid and storm-taking Heavy Metal result. I would even discover some doom (eg. CANDLEMASS) touches here and there and this is another (of course) positive feature on their sound.
Everything starts from the good riffing and it is obvious that in here you would be able to here some amazing riffs. The extra guitar melodies and leads by Haris Vavalidis would complete the guitar wall of sound (by the way check Haris work on his previous ATRIA MORTIS band, I gave their “The Samurai” demo a lot of spins when it was released back in 2006 and still is a favorite pick when it comes to Greek Heavy Metal), while Panos Tsartsalis on bass and Apostolos Tzotzis on drums build the ideal, solid rhythm section. Turn the volume a little louder and feel the hammering!
