Prog Metal masters LEVIATHAN from Colorado, US, are back. Arkeyn Steel Records is releasing the band’s ninth album “Stories Of Imperceptible Light”. This particular full length marks the 15th year of the band’s reactivation back in 2009. I still remember the very exact moment when I learned about the band’s reunion. I felt so happy because I knew that the band have a lot to offer. And yes their latest release confirmsΒ  that I was right. This is a fact: 15 years of the LEVIATHAN new age are celebrated with the release of one of their greatest albums.

LEVIATHAN are developing a sonic universe of their own since the day one of their existence. Song by song, album by album. With their latest masterpiece they continue their very own exploration through the realms of sound, reaching new levels of greatness Listener should devote time to each and every composition included in here, in order to discover new sonic treasures in every new listening and believe me this is one of the strongest features in this release.

I would consider this album as the most complex one of the reunion era. It highlights a unique way of musicianship, through a series of great combinations: Complexity meets melody, thinking meets emotion and the result is an outstanding and adventurous Prog Metal album.

“Stories Of Imperceptible Light” is a puzzle of progression and inspiration, highlighting all the magnificence of the classic US Prog Metal. A masterpiece not to be missed.

I breathe for music. And I am more than sure that my mission in this universe is to make everybody agree that "Awaken The Guardian" by FATES WARNING is the best album ever released, yes in all musical genres. My next mission is to feed homeless cats and when I am not busy with all this stuff I listen to US Prog / Power and Epic Doom Metal. And I cast spells in rituals in order to awake the old ones.
